How to calculate probable marks

Candidates can estimate their tentative scores using the official marking scheme. As per the exam pattern, one mark is awarded for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect response. No marks are deducted for questions that are left unanswered.By comparing the answers marked in the response sheet with the official answer key, candidates can calculate their probable scores and assess their performance in the mains examination.

What happens next

Candidates who qualify in the mains examination will have to appear for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The test assesses a candidate’s ability to read, write, and understand the local language of the state or union territory they have applied for. After the completion of the language test and document verification process, the State Bank of India will release the final merit list for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Clerks) across its branches.
