Taking to Instagram, the 30-year-old shared two photos of herself holding her baby girl in her arms at a gathering. Elsie donned an off-the-shoulder black lace dress, while Scottie was adorable in a pink onesie covered in strawberries and a matching white bib.

Reminiscing the day Scottie was born, Elsie wrote, “My scottie girl is 12 weeks old today. on the way to the hospital we wrote down our predictions for what time she’d be born. my guess was 3:05pm (my birthday, 03/05). after 23 hours of labor, that is the exact time she arrived.” She added, “how crazy and cool is that.”

Elsie’s latest glimpse into motherhood comes after she and Pete had their first night out since welcoming Scottie into the world, and she wasn’t shy about sharing how she really felt the following morning. “please know if u gave birth 4 weeks ago and u try to go out,” she wrote over a selfie posted to her Instagram Stories Jan. 11, “u will likely PAY FOR IT THE NEXT DAY i feel like i’m withering away.” On another slide, she added, “just wanted to be honest about that bc i don’t want to set an unrealistic example or cause any of u other mamas to think you should be going out / hittin the town if you’re not ready!!!”Elsie went on to say that despite being able to get in a date night with Pete, she’s still healing from giving birth just under a month prior.
