SSC GD Constable 2026 Exam Cancelled: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) General Duty Constable 2026 examination has been cancelled at several centres following severe overcrowding and breaches in seating capacity. The disruption was reported across multiple examination venues where attendance far exceeded the permitted limits.The Staff Selection Commission confirmed that certain centres were unable to conduct the examination fairly due to excessive candidate turnout compared to available seating arrangements, leading to immediate suspension of affected shifts. Authorities cited repeated capacity mismatches across multiple centres, necessitating urgent intervention to maintain examination standards.Admit Card Revision And Venue UpdatesCandidates affected by the cancellation have been instructed to download fresh admit cards from the official SSC portal, ssc.gov.in. The revised hall tickets will include updated examination centres, shift timings and rescheduled dates for all impacted candidates.Security Verification Measures At New CentresAll candidates appearing in the rescheduled shifts will undergo Aadhaar e-KYC verification at designated centres as part of mandatory security protocols.
